What I am trying to do it downloading all caches within say 50km of my home. Have you changed the default GPX setting? It contains 2 GPX files, one with caches, the other with waypoints.
This is done auomatically from the website. The PQ at least has to be run one time on a day checked by you. A PQ can run every day on a daily base. Just the MyFinds PQ is limited to run only every third day. So I ran a pocket query 17 hours ago and it is still not transfered across to the downloaded side.
Will it change across there right when it gets to 24 hours? Have you checked the box on the day you wanted the PQ? If a PQ has never been run before it normally runs within minutes. Also, remember that the day is Seattle time. What is the process to unzip the file? I use Windows 10, sending to Garmin T. Even if you don't download to your GPS device you can use GPX files to help manage the geocaches you have found or plan to look for in the future. In order to download geocaching data from the web site, you must first agree to Groundspeak's license. Before you can read and agree to the license agreement, you need to first log in to the web site. Once you agree to the license you are be able to click to download waypoints from the search pages and the waypoint details on the web site.
In addition as a Premium Member you can generate Pocket Queries of geocache listings to put on your GPS devices and handheld applications.
