I love these cards in theory, however, I really like rolling for health. Is there anyway to include an editable version of the SRD so I could change just the health portion, rather than going and remaking each card individually to change the health? Hi Matthew. Thank you for your hard work. Just a quick question - how do I edit the entered text in the fillable form. Cant seem to adjust font, size, bold, etc? Thanks for doing all this work! I was on my way to having all the monsters I use commonly hand-written on index cards, but now I can use my prep time as DM on other tasks.
And thanks for the pay what you want option. Well worth it! You might consider adding 1 or 2 images of the cards so people know that they are high quality and will hopefully chip in. Hi there Love this product, I am printing them out as needed and laminating them for use. Sucks to be me, new to 5E Oh man! That's an odd one. Your players owe me a beer for accidentally making that fight easier for them :.
Having issues with the form fillable. Just like on the spell cards. The font size is fixed, and can't do any custom editing. And the upper left field next to the CR is not editable either nice to put traits and things up there like on your original cards. Suggestion: put CR rating in the file names.. I just took up the reigns as 5e dnd this last weekend without having read much other than the classes and a few feats and random sporadic rules like jumping.
Just a heads up, I noticed that the Warhorse and Warhorse Skeleton are mixed up in the individual's. I am trying to help you out and make cards from Volos and Curse of strahd and other books might been releashed So you can certainly make the monster cards for your own use, but Matt won't be able to add them to this product without getting licensed by WOTC.
I was going to do the exact same thing and copy all of the Curse of Strahd monsters over. Could I get copies of the ones you already filled out? Do these cards just use black and white ink? I really like the way they look, but would want to make sure I'm not using too much ink if I printed them off.
These cards are fantastic, the layout is perfect. Would you consider making the editable fields accept rich text so we could enter bold or italic text?
Hey Jack. That's a good idea re: rich text, and I'll look into it, but I suspect it'll be a limitation in Adobe forms. Rich text would also allow users to adjust the font size. Currently I can't fit all of the monster names in the name box, for example. Excellent work! I have no idea how I managed without these cards thus far Would you consider uploading fillable versions of both large and small cards in doc format?
Its impossible to edit text in those documents without specific adobe products : Bonus points if you include notes about fonts used : I really like the design! This is excellent. Actually, since this is a DMSGuild product you can create cards for any monster.
No need to limit yourself to SRD. My only suggestion would be to make the fillable blank sheets to fill up a page. I love these cards, but I was wondering if you'll be making the blank sheets form fillable at some point? Hey Gabriel, I hadn't originally intended to, but there has been a bit of interest so I've just updated the files to include form fillable PDFs. Hope that helps! Hey Matthew, Thank you so much for making those files form fillable!
I love the format of the cards, but my handwriting sucks and trying to write stats for the creatures on the blank printouts was an exercise in aggravation my handwriting sucks. Anyway, thanks again for the great work you do! Francisco M. I got these to use for my own homebrew game based on MTG's Zendikar and found them to be invaluable when I let my players control the monsters.
It is a little difficult to work with but overall I have really enjoyed this product. Angie H. These are amazing! One-click unsubscribe later if you don't enjoy the newsletter. Log In with Facebook. That said, I don't think it goes far enough. I like the guidelines for creating your own Domains. However, with such a rich history of Feywild lore and so many existing archfey, I would have loved Wizards' 5e take on how all of that fits into current lore.
I feel like at this point, we will never see a more fully fleshed-out Feywild - which is fine. My own imagination can do wonders as a DM. But I was very interested in seeing how it all fit together for Wizards, especially now that we have an official 5e Feywild adventure. I'm unable to download these files.
When I use Chrome, it shows the pop up window which indicates that the PDFs are prepped and that download should begin, but then downloading never begins. When I use Firefox, I get an error saying that it can't read the file it's trying to save. I end up getting a partially downloaded file which sometimes auto deletes and other times just stays in my folder.
I did manage to get a file to complete downloading after about two minutes, but it's zero bytes in size so I imagine that's not the correct file. Please advise. Use the "Contact Us" button at the very bottom left of the screen.
Yeah, I realized that it might be an issue so I went through that link and informed them of my troubles. I got a response back from them so hopefully the issue has been resolved.
I'm really starting to wonder if Hasbro is trying to put something over on their stockholders by customer manipulation artificially drive the stock price down so insiders can buy more stock cheaply. How do you keep your customers happy?
Not by doing what Wizards of the Coast did with this product. So, instead of including the rules in the book, you mention this product on a picture in the book page I bought the book because I wanted a hard copy. This is either blatant customer manipulation, or complete incompetence. Sorry, I should clear up the above review. Well, necessary if you actually want to create some domains yourself.
It should have been included in the hard copy of The Wild Beyond The Witchlight but for some unfathomable reason it wasn't. As I mentioned above, this is either incompetence, or in hindsight, probably a pathetic desire to look "good" while actually being just greedy.
Having Domains of Delight be used for charity gives them the veneer of caring, without doing any work. You know what, Wizards, if you actually cared you would have included this product in the actual book where it belonged and then donated a percentage of the book price to the charity itself. But that would have cut into your own profits, eh? See more let the customer cover it, and then pat yourself on the back over how great you are as a company.
If Wizards of the Coasts' goal was to annoy their customer base, they seemed to have done a wonderful job based on the comments below. Is there a print friendly version of this included in the purchase? I don't enjoy trying to flip through PDFs, but I also don't enjoy trying to print dozens of pages of full-bleed artwork at home.
I purchased this. To answer my question: No, there is not a print friendly version. It should give me a starting point to develop some feywild adventure for Adventurers League, but it's a very rough sketch. The last line of the product description is " It upsets me to buy this Buying this makes me part of the problem :. It seems disingenuous of WotC to: Firstly, remove this from published material I know WBtWL is an adventure module, but if you're not planning a full-on book for the feywild itself it makes sense to keep it together.
If there is additional content to be published on the feywild in future N September 29, pm UTC. I like the fact that they are raising money for charity, but I don't like the fact this was removed from the book, advertised in the book it was removed from and because of that also not on roll If they wanted to raise money for charity I better way would have been to put this in the book and give a percentage to the charity from it.
That would put less of a bad taste in my mouth. Especially as I can see this being done in the future. Maybe as exclusive content for their own VTT product they are hoping to roll out? This is exactly the sort of thing I was wanting to see in the actual adventure. Very disappointed by this ploy. I find it pretty frustrating that the content I actually wanted from Wild Beyond the Witchlight was 1. I reviewed this book on YouTube here. The gist of it being that overall the book is good.
But that the book really needed to flesh out the Cowled Wizards more. Them banning all arcane magic which tech [ Sean D. This is an amazing book overall. There are a few minor typos sprinkled throughout, which is something you'd expect to have been resolved in a product this high profile.
I did get the print on demand and I'm very happy with it. It's extre [ See All Ratings and Reviews. Browse Categories. DMs Guild. Guild Adept. Wild Beyond the Witchlight. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching.
However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background. For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book.
We essentially digitally re-master the book.
